My name is Laurie and I love everything to do with natural hair care. I started my journey in Fall of 2010. I was going through changes and I wanted my hair to reflect that. Also, I wanted my daughter to learn to appreciate her hair as well. I started as most of you did, with YouTube. What I found was that while I really enjoyed the tutorials and every bit of information I was able to absorb, the hair featured really didn't look like my hair. The women featured, really didn't look like me or my daughter. The ones that did only utilized items that they received from their hair boxes or paid a lot of money on. No way was I going down that path. So I took a little bit from each person that I met along my journey, and I tailored it to fit my needs. So far, I am quite pleased with the results.
