My niece Sasha decided that she wanted red hair. She called me and we discussed shades. I thought she was on to the right idea with her complexion and her life style. Young lovely lady, working, trying to live right, and she loves Isaiah. That's all she needs to do.
She bought the colors from the beauty supply store and had different developers and two different shades in coordinating tones. I thought, "This is going to be really pretty. I hope she let's me see it when she's done." Then I realized, she wanted me to do it! But she wouldn't ask me. (My family sometimes calls me Katie KaBoom! because of my temper. I am working on myself.) So needless to say, I asked if she would like me to do it and she looked surprised. Like she had never thought of that!
Two hours, no dinner and no homework done, my niece has a beautiful head full of red curls. The only thing I asked is if she would let me style her hair with my essential oils to let her curls know we still love them. (By ask, I just did it without permission. I'm the oldest Aunt she has and she is getting a free hair treatment!)
I also gave her a make up kit, some clothes, a pair of earrings and who knows what she slipped in that bag when I wasn't looking. You gotta watch kids....
So, here are the results:
I used rosemary of course and grapeseed oil as her hair is so light and fluffy. I didn't want to weigh it down with heavy oil.
