Review of a Product...Carol's Daughter

Hello World!

Now, I don't normally use "store bought" products, because I have been sorely disappointed each and every time. So, I'm not quite sure what possessed me to spend my hard earned money on this product. Now, let me preface this review...

I bought this product myself after reading and hearing about the wonders of Carol's Daughter. This product is supposed to be to natural hair, what activator was to the jheri curl..... I as supposed to be able to wash my hair with this kit, use the hair milk and the pudding in the jar, and instantly my curls would be fresh, defined and bouncy.... My friend here at work saw my hair and she asked me what happened to it? She said it looked frizzy and big. Now, I like big hair, but I like controlled big hair. This hair is just big and ridiculous. Its crunchy and looks like a helmet. I could go on, but I have to keep looking at my hair in this hand mirror and its upsetting my delicate disposition.....

To be fair, I will try it on my daughters hair and see if it is a texture issue. I mean, maybe my natural hair isn't the right type of natural hair. Maybe this is for bi-racial natural hair. Maybe its for my dog Basil, he has nice silky hair. I used to use my hair products on Basil, my chinese crested, because he has hair instead of fur. But Tasha told me that was animal testing and that is illegal, so I stopped....

So, finally, you will see my posting on coconut oil, because I will be using it tonight and putting pictures on my blog. If I don't pull my hair out first, I'll try to upload a picture of my hair today. Maybe you all have suggestions of where this went horribly wrong.
