Hello World!
In my quest to lose weight, I have come to realize that I do not drink enough water. I can tell this because I am retaining water in my hands and feet. Crazy to think that I can retain water if I'm not drinking water. But your body always tries to get what it needs and if you aren't providing it, the body will retain it from the foods you eat and the fluids you do drink. Then it will hold onto it like its the last Lay's potato chip in the bag....
Getting rid of water weight is good when you're in a pinch and need to lose that last inch to get into a dress or pants for a special occasion. But this isn't the answer to the problem. Eating a healthy diet and exercising is always the best solution. When you retain fluid, that means the body is slightly out of balance. This is a temporary and all natural way to find that balance.
In the quest to lose weight, you have to be very careful that you aren't becoming dehydrated, as this can do harm to your internal organs. So in essence, we should look at fat burning strategies as well as strategies to lose a little water weight.

There are several essential oils that can act as a natural diuretic, that means, they help you get rid of water. They are:
Lemon
Cypress
Lemongrass
Lavender
Patchouli
Grapefruit
Fennel
Orange
Oregano
Some of these oils are flavorful enough that you can just add them to a beverage. Others you can place them inside capsules or just apply them to your tongue. You'll want to to this while at home the first time, because you'll want to be close to the bathroom, just in case.
Good Luck!
