Whipped Coconut Oil

Hello World!

I love coconut oil. It smells good, it takes good, you can cook with it and you can use it on your skin and hair. Good to know if you get stranded on a desert island and need to moisturize. But in the warmer weather, my jar turns into a liquid mess. What to do, what to do??? Well, I whip shea butter so I decided to whip coconut oil and see what happens. It whips into a beautiful mountain of loveliness. I like to use it for my face and body and one for my hair. To prevent cross contamination, I make it in seperate batches. Once its whipped, I like to add a few drops of essential oil to benefit what ever lovely bit I'm applying it to. On my previous blog, I wrote about essential oils for hair, so those are the ones that I add to the hair jar.

The other jar, I add a few drops of rose essential oil, or jasmine, or what ever essential oil I'm feeling at the moment.
I keep one by my bedside and the other on my hair cart. (Yes, I have a cart full of hair stuff. Don't judge me.)

Let me know if you want a video showing how to make it and what it should look like. I'd be happy to share...
