Essential oils review

Hello World!

I have been on vacation from school and just enjoying not reading or learning anything new. But as of this Monday, it's back to the grind. So I figured, lets all learn something new! This semester class, we are going to focus on the goodness, NO, the Greatness of essential oils. Think about it, most medicines have their roots in essential oils, someone just needed to make money so they added poisonous ingredients and upped the prices so that we can't really afford them. But I'm bringing the knowledge back. As you improve the health of your body, you improve the health of your hair. My hair is growing so fast and it is so healthy, I want to make sure that you have the same opportunities.

So, sit back, grab a pen, and learn.....

Photo: A friend of ours uses Clary Sage Essential Oil to help relieve stress and also menstrual cramps. Share your Clary Sage stories with us.

Clary sage has been used for centuried to assist with "female conditions".  What is great about this essential oil is that it also helps with balancing the body and settling the mind. Because it is very similar in structure to hormones it helps to alleviate hair loss and also promotes hair growth.
When it comes to stressful situations, clary sage helps to calm the noise that goes on in your head when you are feeling overwhelmed.
Its also great for your hyperactive pets. Gives them a sense of peace, which in turn, gives YOU a sense of peace. But check with your vet first!

The properties of the plants are-Anticoagulant, antioxidant, anticonvulsive, antifungal, antiseptic, astringent, sedative, cholesterol, antidiabetic, antitumoral, nerve tonic.

The documented usage of clary sage are-Menstrual problems and PMS, hormonal imbalance, pre-menopause, bronchitis, high cholesterol, hemorrhoids, impotence, insomnia, circulatory problems, kidney disorders, hair loss.

How do you mix it?
Use diluted - 50:50 dilution (one part essential oil: one part of vegetable oil). Then,
  • Apply several drops (2-4) on location, feet, ankles or wrists
  • Apply to chakras/vitaflex points
  • Diffuse, or
  • May be used as a dietary supplement.
I obtain my essential oils from Young living. They are a food grade essential oil company. But where ever you obtain your oil, make sure that it is food grade. You don't want to put anything on your body that you wouldn't put IN your body.
