I've been MIA for a minute. My health and the health of my family has been falling apart like wet, one ply toilet tissue. Knock on wood, we are all still here, so I felt like it might be a great time to tell you guys about Thieves oil. I have been using this on myself and my youngest son, since we have been running in and out of different hospitals to take care of ourselves and our family members. The legend of Thieves oil stems from a history of 4 thieves who, in the times of the bubonic plague, were robbing the dead. The mystery was, the thieves never came down with any diseases. When they were arrested, the magistrate stated that they would have leniency given to them, if they would share how they avoided the disease. They stated that they rubbed themselves with a special blend of aromatic oils, garlic and rosemary that prevented them from contracting anything. Now, the formula has been changed to include rosemary, lemon, cinnamon bark, eucalyptus and cloves. Its a great antifungal, antibacterial and great to prevent respiratory concerns. In other words, this oil can boost your immune system. It works against MRSA, also known as Staph, pseudomonas, and even ring worm. My son would go to the barber shop, and ALWAYS get ring worm. Now, once he comes home, I wash his hair and rub this on his scalp, blended with olive oil, and no ring worm. Plus, it seems to be making his hair come in thicker. Maybe its the rosemary...

How is this used? You can inhale it, you can place it on yourself topically and you can also ingest it. Being 100% natural, this is also a food grade product. I have even made a gargle with this oil, just a few drops, when I had a sore throat, and the pain went away. There are so many people who refuse to take medication, and this may be a great natural alternative.

The Thieves mixture comes in many forms, tooth paste, hand soap, cleaner and air spray. If you get a bottle of the oil, you can make a lot of these products yourself. The great thing about Thieves is that a little goes a long way, so you don't necessarily need gallons of this stuff.
